Health and Safety
We pride ourselves on our excellent Health and Safety record. The feedback that we receive from Companies, Schools and Youth Organisations continually rates Oaker Wood as a friendly, caring and safe environment in which their organisation can participate and enjoy all activities whilst on site.
It is our aim on all our activities to provide, fully trained, experienced marshals to maximise your fun and enjoyment.
All our instructors are continually monitored on performance and safety on all activities We place a great emphasis on all customer feedbacks.
All departments receive Health and Safety awareness training and all senior marshals carry a current, valid First Aid Certificate.
All our safety equipment is checked prior to all activity sessions and is renewed on a regular basis.
We can offer all parties a complete, up to date Risk Assessment and Health and Safety Policy, along with proof of valid insurance. (These are only provided on request).
Any participants under the age of 16 must have a completed Parental/Guardian Consent Form with them on the day. These are provided on booking. We are more than happy if your organisation has its own Consent Form for attendance records.
Team Leaders are reminded to inform Senior Marshals of any medical conditions that they need to be aware of and that correct, valid and plentiful medication is available on the day. The responsibility is on the organiser NOT the operator.
"Your safety is our concern…"
