We have 2 completely separate Camping Villages, both set amongst mature trees and positioned in a beautiful secluded spot overlooking the sun setting over the Welsh mountains. Designed to give a wilderness feel without removing too many of your creature comforts.
Accommodation is in Wooden Glamping Pods each sleeping between 4 and 8 on bunk beds. Pods have electric lighting and heaters for the colder months. Winding paths in the Beaches Village, lit by fairy lights at night lead through the trees to each Pod.
Each Village has a covered communal dining area where you can opt for catered/self catered or a mixture of the two. All cooking equipment & crockery is provided together with a barbecues, gas oven, microwave & toaster for cooking.
At the heart of each Glamping Village is our fire circle, with fixed seating allowing plenty of room for your group to sit around the fire. Toasting marshmallows, singing camp fire songs and telling ghost stories all make great memories of Oaker Wood Camp.
We have a Nordic style Barbecue hut so should the weather turn wet you can toast marsmallows and sing camp fire songs in comfort.
We also have a wooden chalet style Activity Hut which can be used for evening activities and games and quizes in wet weather.
There are toilets and hot showers in each village, so its easy to warm up after a wet rafting session!
Costs of our residential activity camps vary depending on number of nights, catering options and choice of activities.
Thank you so much for an amazing three days last week. All of us - children and staff had a wonderful time. You made us feel so welcome and every activity great fun. I was very impressed with all of your staff and the commitment they showed.

Highly recommended to any school thinking of taking some students for an action packed fun day out. The activities themselves were really well organised, with health and safety as a priority.

Our Year 3 children loved their stay at Oaker Wood, as did the staff! It was fabulous to see them all getting stuck into the various activities laid on and getting so much out of it. You truly have a magical place. We loved it.

I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic 24 hours at Oakerwood. Our Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and now have a new found appreciation for crate stacking, tree climbing, rafting and quad-biking. They went home this afternoon very tired, very hot but very happy!
Michaela De Barr- Wigmore Primary School
I just wanted to thank you and your team for our fabulous trip last week to you. I cannot say enough how your team bent over backwards to ensure our diabetic child could access all of the activities. A particular thanks to Mick who worked so hard with her to get her to have the best two days of her life, it really was an incredible experience for her. All of the staff were fantastic and made it enjoyable for everyone.
