Camping Residentials

Camping is a great way for children to explore the outdoors, the excitement of sleeping under canvas with their school friends adds to the whole Oaker Wood Experience.

Our purpose built campsite at Oaker Wood is set amongst mature trees and positioned in a beautiful secluded spot overlooking the sun setting over the Welsh mountains. Designed to give a wilderness feel without removing too many of your creature comforts.

With modern 10 man tents already in place we take the hard work out of camping. Each tent is set in its own soft wood chipped bay. Winding paths, lit by fairy lights at night lead through the trees to each tent. Teachers and leaders have their own tent with individual pods.

There is a covered communal dining area where you can opt for catered/self catered or a mixture of the two. All cooking equipment & crockery is provided together with a gas barbecue  & hot rings for cooking.

At the heart of the camp area is our fire circle, with fixed tiered benches allowing plenty of room for your group to sit around the fire. Toasting marshmallows, singing camp fire songs and telling ghost stories all make great memories of Oaker Wood Camp.

Toilets and hot showers are on site, so its easy to warm up after a wet rafting session!
