Borneo Challenge Course

Team Development with a difference, a fun Team Building Activity which often forms part of our Year 7 Activity Days.

Students work in teams to achieve a range of challenges incorporating communication and leadership skills. Building bridges to cross the swamp, swinging through the Mohawk Tree Trail, battling Stumpy's Revenge.

This is the ultimate in relay races…..low ropes style!

As for the champions…well that's for the team who wins the most events.

There are 5 different packages:

Borneo Assault- children aged 7+Borneo Challenge- Team Building 11+Borne Obelisk- fun Adult challenge Code Breaker & Water Shortage- Corporate Team Building

Borneo Low Ropes is our specially designed Assault Course, set on its own trail through the wood.

It comprises many challenges and tasks and can be used as an activity for all ages from a Corporate Team Building event, to a child's birthday party.

The activities combine physical obstacles such as swinging between platforms and crawling up tunnels, to mental challenges such as building bridges to cross the swamp or electric fence.

What our customers say

We had one camp village with pods to ourselves which made it easier to allow the pupils to be under our supervision during free time which was good! The staff are very friendly and very approachable and most importantly child friendly. Hopefully this will be the first of more visits planned by our secondary school. Cheers Oaker Wood

Holte School - Oct 17

First time of taking out school pupils to Oaker Wood. The pupils stay in camping pods which I thought were quite accommodating and warm with heaters that automatically switch on if the temperature goes below 18 degrees. The site itself is very impressive with an array of activities to suit all ages and abilities spread over the site.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your hard work and the hard work of your fantastic staff to make our trip so successful.

Caroline Gilbert - Kings High, Warwick - June 16

I wanted to thank you and the rest of the team at Oaker for another fantastic weekend. All the students are still buzzing from the activities and again we were looked after brilliantly.

Natalie Anderton - St Thoms More 6th Form

The food is plentiful and delicious ("this is the best curry ever", said several boys), and the activities of adrenaline high ropes and paintball are perfect for the needs of active lads.

Difficult as it may seem, the Oaker Wood experience was even better this time than last year. With the newly-built wooden pods, the boys had heated accommodation and no wind or rain could unsettle their night's sleep. The camp remains a magical place, with the fairy lights and firepit. Even the compost toilet has become part of the legend!
