What our customers say

We visited with our teenage kids who took part in high ropes and quad biking, we only did quad biking. All the activities were well managed and super fun. The team were fantastic, very engaged and really seemed to take an interest.

Brett - Family Adventure - March 18

Great event that all 11 kids really enjoyed. Well organised and safety briefing was really clear and all the kids took note. Feedback from kids was really positive and even some shouts of ‘best party ever!’ My Son had a blast. Will definitely be returning to try out some of the other activities!

Kerry Rowlatt - Paintball Party -March 18

All in all I have been really impressed with Oakerwood, from enquiry and booking, right through to the day (with a snow postponement in the middle). Thank you for making our sons 10th birthday such a memorable one.

Rachel Lish - March 18

Our sons verdict - best birthday ever! We even had some less confident riders that were really nervous about joining in but the guys were great with them, jumping on the back of the quad and helping them to steer, in no time they were out on their own having an amazing time. By the end we had 8 very muddy, very happy children, all of whom want to come back, all the adults were pretty keen to get on a quad too!

Rachel Lish - March 18

As ever, Oaker Wood came up trumps with my son's paintballing party. Brilliantly organised, reasonably priced, with staff who are both completely professional & great fun. Would highly recommend!

Feb 2018

Second visit within the year to Oaker Woods with the kids. Amazing family fun for us, last year it was paintballing, low ropes, this time quad biking, zip wire and high ropes. Quad biking an absolute favourite with all of us, hands down the most fun we have had as a family group. Completely recommend. Instructors get a big shout out from us. Only downside, we wish it was closer to home!!!!

Lisa Owen - Feb 2018

Great party, all the kids loved it, staff were great. It was a very cold day but they even had spare gloves for the children, plenty of food and drinks available. The only place I could find to accommodate 10 year olds.

Gill Pearson - 10th Birthday - Nov 17

We had youngsters and teens as well as adults in our group so chose the family paint ball . We were concerned it would be too tame for the grown ups but we need not have worried ! It was the most fun we had had in a long time - lots of different scenarios to " fight" in including holding a bridge and trying to capture a flag from an old fort. The staff are friendly and safety conscious, the whole set up is really professional and we all talked about it for weeks afterwards ( even after the bruises had faded) .A great way to spend a few hours with good friends.

Philippa - Family Paintball - Sept 17

Our family of 4 visited on Thursday whilst staying in the area for half term. Had an excellent experience with friendly instructors. Lots of time on the bikes with fun and challenging ride around the woods. First time for all of us, boys loved it (14 & 17), we loved it. Will definitely be doing this again. Highly recommend it.

Family Quad Trek - Oct 17

The children loved the freedom of playing in the village and helping with building the camp fire and toasting marshmallows in the fabulous BBQ hut complete with comfy cushions, blankets and flashing fairy lights.
