What our customers say

We had a wide range of ages of children who wanted to try quad biking. Oaker wood made it so easy to book and sort out, even with last minute additions. Our instructors quickly and easily sorted the kids into groups and within minutes the kids were trying out the bikes and having fun. Chris and Sam made it fun but safe and afterwards, every single one of the 15 kids we had with us said it was the best fun they’d ever had.

Hollie - Family Quads - Aug 19

I visited Oaker Wood Leisure for my 18th Birthday. And I was welcomed by the team and immediately felt like I was apart of there family. We did quad biking and clay shooting. Many thanks to the team at Oaker Wood Leisure for making me feel special on my 18th birthday. And for giving me a experience I will never forget.

Luke - 18th Birthday - Aug 19

Went quad biking today. Had a fab time all the staff were incredibly accommodating to all the kids of different ages. Hope to be back soon!

Hibbert Family - Aug 19

50 young people from The Factory Young People's Centre and Maypole Youth Centre attended for a days activity of paintballing and high ropes. Once again the day was faultless, despite the bad weather. The young people had an amazing time and were encouraged to try new things and push their comfort boundaries. The only thing better than the activities were the staff, well organised, friendly and motivated - they really encouraged the young people and were excellent as always.

Factory YPV - Aug 19

Great day, 4 couples some of us hadn’t even picked up a gun, the guys were instructive, patient and entertaining, the scenery over the lake was stunning! We all had a really good day.

Dawn Day - Clay Pigeon Shooting - July 19

A group of ten of us did the clay pigeon shooting activity at this wonderful venue. The setting is wonderful and the staff could not have been more helpful. This is the second activity we have done here as a group and can't rate the place enough. The clay pigeon shooting itself was well organised, safe and above all somersetting that all of us could take part in and enjoy. Will definitely return. Thank You.

Ted Wiliams - Clay Pigeon Shooting - July 19

Family Clay Session - July 19

I organised a stag do at one of the Glamping camps and it was perfect, food and activities all taken care of by the staff who made for an excellent weekend. The accommodation is great and there are bbq and kitchen areas to use. The campfire was roaring all weekend. Would highly recommend anyone booking a stag to consider it, you’ll be in safe hands and have a great weekend.

Tom Fleetwood - Stag weekend - July 19

Saturday we did our chosen activities – Code Breaking & Rafting. These were so well organised and fun, also great for big groups to bond and get to know one another. Big shout out to Chris and Pav, our amazing hosts for the day who managed to put up with 18 rather strong willed, hyper and hungover ladies! You guys were great and we can’t thank you enough for making it such a giggle.

Hollie Hunt - Hen Weekend - July 19

I would like to begin this review with a huge THANK YOU to the Oaker Wood Team. We organised a weekend at the camp for our friends hen party – from the initial enquiries stage, all the way through to the weekend itself the team were beyond helpful. I spoke to many Glamping venues and most were proving inflexible in terms of people, activities and options. Oaker Wood has a very simple and organised set up, however the team were more than happy to make tweaks to the package to suit the needs of our group.
