Struggling for stag or hen do ideas? Well imagine it… a Glamping Village set in 175 acres of mature woodland, complete with sunset, campfire and Nordic Barbecue hut – exclusive to your party. On-site is an outstanding selection of Outdoor Activities perfect for your stag or hen weekend do. Including Quad Trekking, Escape Room, Rafting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, High Ropes, Assault Course & Paintball.
All organised and booked as a weekend package so taking the hassle out of organising a hen or stag weekend.
If you are looking for a more rough and tumble Hen or Stag Weekend all at one venue, complete with fresh air, campfires and plenty of laughs, then this may be just what you are looking for.
If you don’t need accommodation and would just like to do activities, that’s fine too!

Food & Drink
Our Stag & Hen Weekends are self catered but we provide all the equipment in your kitchen and dining hut, together with a Scandinavian style barbecue cabin, outdoor barbecues and camp fire.
Several takeaways deliver to the site & 2 miles down the country lane in each direction are some fantastic country pubs. Gourmet Ludlow, complete with some great shopping is 15 minutes drive away.
Sleeping
We have 2 glamping villages, The Oaks Glamping Village has 9 pods and The Beeches Glamping Village has 11 pods (our pods sleep either 4 people or 8), so plenty of room for a pretty large hen or stag do! You will need a minimum group size of 12 to book one of our villages.

Our Glamping Villages are fully equipped so all you have to worry about is inviting the right people. Because you have exclusive use of the village you are welcome to decorate it to suit your theme, one of our favourite Hen Weekends was ‘I’m a Hen, get me out of here…’

Stag & Hen Party Activities
Just coming to Oaker Wood for the day? No problem. You can book any of the following activities just for a half day, or select 2 activities and stay all day.
Quad Trekking
Explore our 175 acre woodland by Quad Bike. After an initial training session on the quad tracks our instructors take you on treks around the forest. One of the favourite activities for Stag & Hen Groups staying on site. Please note this activity is only available for up to 15 people.
Code Breaker
A Fun Team Based challenge on our low ropes assault course. Scale the Commando Wall, navigate the Spiders Web and scramble up the Catch Old Mine. The quicker you are the more points you score – and what do points make? Prizes…
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Whether you shoot regularly or have never picked up a gun in your life, our instructors ensure that all your party enjoy the experience of Clay Pigeon Shooting.
The setting is beautiful as the clay traps are located at our woodland lake.
Laser Clay Shooting
A great activity for groups and often popular with stag and hen groups!
Rafting
A favourite amongst summer hen & stag parties, especially those staying in our Glamping Village. Set on our picturesque woodland lake, competitive fun on the water. Tug of war, races and general mayhem on the water. Come dressed as pirates for some great Stag photo opportunities of the Groom walking the plank.
Paintball
One of our most popular Stag & Hen Party activities.
We NEVER mix groups so you will not be thrown in amongst a kids birthday party or group of paintballing regulars which means you can really make your Stag or Hen suffer!
Based at our Paintball Fort your session will last approximately 2 1/2 hours during which you will play 4 separate games.
High Rope Adrenalin
Test your nerve with our High Ropes Adrenalin Package, a trio of thrill filled activities – Zip Wire, Monkey Climbing and Quick Jump. Or create your own package from our High Ropes Pick & Mix.
High Ropes Team Challenge
High Ropes Team Challenge is a thrilling high ropes challenge which includes the popular Zip Wire, Monkey Climb and Gladiator Challenge!
'Compromised' Escape Room
We have received a shipping container, in which a set of plans has been hidden away. We need you, and your team of top code cracking agents, to work through riddles and puzzles to retrieve the plans. You have one hour upon entering to solve all the puzzles and escape with the plans!
