Whether you’re visiting as a school group, celebrating a special occasion, or organising a corporate event, our FAQs are designed to give you clear, helpful information so you can feel confident and well-prepared for your visit.

GENERAL FAQ's
Are there toilets on-site?
- Yes, there are plenty of toilets onsite, near Reception, in our Camps and in the Paintball area.
Is there a shop at Oaker Wood?
- No, we do not have a shop at the wood, but there is a Shop & Post Office in Kingsland (2 miles away), and a Morrisons in Leominster (4 miles away).
Is there a Cafe?
- No, there isn’t a cafe at Oaker Wood. We can provide hot drinks at extra cost, water is always available to visitors.
Do you allow dogs on-site?
- No, dogs are strictly not allowed at Oaker Wood.
Are the staff first aid trained?
- Yes, all our instructors are first aid trained and DBS checked. Learn more here.
Is there phone signal at Oaker Wood?
- Phone signal can be a little hit and miss at Oaker Wood. Depending on your provider you may get signal in our Glamping Village and in our Paintball site.
Do you have Wifi?
- There is no Wifi at Oaker Wood, apart from in our meeting room (only available if this is being used as a part of your booking).
Do you mix groups?
- No, at Oaker Wood we keep groups separate so you will only ever be with your group.
What happens if our visit is cancelled due to bad weather?
- If we have to cancel your booking due to bad weather, we will work with you to rearrange your visit at a time to suit everyone.
If we cancel our booking, will we lose our deposit?
- Yes, if you cancel your visit you will lose your deposit. See our Terms & Conditions here.
Do you take photos of groups?
- No, we do not take photos of groups, unless we have permission to do so. We would love for you to share any photos you take by tagging our social media pages.

- If you would like to leave us a review you can do so either at Google or Trip Advisor (or directly to us via email if you prefer). We are grateful to those who make time to give feedback following their visit.
CAMP FAQ's
Is smoking allowed in camp?
- Yes, in the open areas. Please use buckets provided in camps to dispose of cigerette ends.
Can I charge my electric car while on site?
- If you require electric car charging, please enquire when booking as this will incur an extra cost.
Can I bring my dogs with me?
- No! Strictly NO dogs onsite.
Can I book activities once we have arrived?
- All activities must be pre-booked, we can not offer activities ‘on the day’ due to our staffing arrangements.
Can I play music in camp?
- Music can be played (up to 10pm) but not at anti-social volumes, please understand that we have neighbours who appreciate your cooperation. Music must be turned off at 10pm.
What do I need to bring?
- A camping chair might be a useful addition, we only have wooden benches.
- Please bring a sleeping bag/duvet and a pillow (sheets for beds are provided).
- A torch is advisable.
- Insect repellent can be handy if you a prone to getting bitten.
Can I buy food on site?
- We do not have a shop onsite. There is a shop in Kingsland village (2 miles away) and a Morrisons in Leominster (4 miles away). You can arrange for a food delivery to your camp.
