The Ultimate Outdoor Adventure for Kids this October Half Term!
29th – 30th October 2026.
One Night Holiday Camp for 7 – 12 year olds.
With two decades of experience running unforgettable school residentials and our hugely popular daytime Holiday Clubs, creating a Kids Holiday Camp was the natural next step for us. Following a successful Holiday Camp in the Easter & Summer holidays, we will be running our next camp for one night at October Half Term from 29th – 30th August.
Children will enjoy days packed with outdoor adventure – from zip wire and monkey climb to junior code breaker challenge, capture the flag, pizza making, rafting, and so much more. During the evening, the children will relax playing games, sharing stories, and making friendships that last a lifetime.
Children will stay in our cosy wooden glamping pods, surrounded by the beauty of Oaker Wood – the perfect setting for an adventure they’ll never forget. Children can come with a friend or a sibling or meet new friends when they get here, either way they are guaranteed an awesome adventure!
Each child attending will be given a welcome pack with various Oaker Wood goodies, all packed in an Oaker Wood bag.

Childen will stay in one of our camp villages together with our DBS checked instructors. Our experienced team will take care of everything with 24 hour pastoral support. There will be male and female staff on duty at all times. Please note: we have 20 years of experience in running school residentials.
Children will be split in to smaller groups of 10-12 for activities, we always make sure friends or siblings can be together if they wish to be. Children will be kept busy with various activities and games and they certainly won’t go hungry whilst they are here!
Camping is a great way for children to explore the outdoors, the excitement of sleeping in one of our Wooden Glamping Pods with their school friends adds to the whole Oaker Wood Experience.
Accommodation is in Wooden Glamping Pods each sleeping between 4 – 8 children in bunk beds. Pods have electric lighting and heaters. Our toilets and showers in the Glamping area are unisex and are individual lockable cubicles.
Each Village has a covered communal dining area where children will enjoy meals*, chat and play games.
At the heart of each Glamping Village is our fire circle. Toasting marshmallows, making s’mores, singing camp fire songs and telling stories all make great memories of an Oaker Wood Camp.

Bring With You
- We recommend old clothes which you don't mind getting dirty or spoilt.
- Bring a coat, boots/wellies, sun hat, sun cream.
- Insect repellent.
- A spare pair of old trainers/shoes/boots.
- A refillable drinks bottle.
- This camp is fully catered, but children are welcome to bring snacks. No NUTS allowed onsite.
- Sleeping bag/duvet, pillow and pillow case (we provide fitted sheet)
- Leave mobile phones at home please
